15 July 2021: RelianceSibur Elastomer has confirmed the hot start-up of our hazardous waste incineration unit for August. Due to the Corona pandemic the initial start-up date could not be maintained. Our team is fully vaccinated and ready to fire-up the unit. The plant consists of a 2-Chamber Vertical Incinerator, an Evaporative Cooler and a 2-Stage Wet Scrubber.

22 February 2021: Dispatch of fired heater to UNCO, Turkey from our workshop in Greece. This project was completed in collaboration with Vitcom, UK.

15 January 2021: Delta-EM started the 5-year operations and maintenance contract to operate the Al Dhafra waste incineration plant together with Cleanco Waste Treatment LLC. Under the contract Delta-EM will supply critical staff to supervise and co-ordinate the operations and maintenance activities of the incineration plant.

12 December 2020: Delta-EM received final acceptance of the medical and hazardous waste incineration plant for Cleanco Waste Treatment LLC under a contract with Tadweer. The plant was built in a record 12 months in the midst of the Corona pandemic.

23 June 2020: A reputable national refinery in the Gulf Region has selected Delta-EM and its local partner to supply a Sulphur Recovery Unit tailgas incinerator. The project will be delivered with our local fabrication partner in a record time of 6 months. Detailed engineering will be completed by our daughter company Europem India Pvt Ltd and our proprietary burner will be designed and fabricated in Belgium.

16 April 2020: Delta-EM supplied a heavy duty shredder to United Medical Waste Management in Qatar. Mr. Bassam Baghdadi, CEO, expressed his happiness with the fast delivery despite the Corona lockdown. Also “…the capacity of my incinerator increased by more than 50% due to the reduced size of the waste being supplied to the incinerator…”

5 January 2020: Hot commissioning of the Enhanced Thermal Reactive Oxiation Unit at ONGC’s natural gas plant has started.

11 June 2019: Delta-EM completed a feasibility study for Sibelco for a thermal treatment process to valorize/reuse a residue stream of glass fines from existing treatment plant(s) for recycled glass.

7 June 2017: The sector federation for Energy from Waste plants in Belgium – Belgian Waste to Energy/BW2E – commissioned Delta-EM with the development of a calculation model to allow EFW operators to self-assess compliance with the R-1 efficiency factor of the EU Waste Framework Directive 2008/98/EC and guidelines. Today, Delta-EM presented the model to the members of BW2E.
